Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Ken Agyapong, has blamed ace investigator, Anas Aremeyaw Anas for the murder of his key witness, Dema Naa Hafiz Mohammed.

According to him, the ace journalist had planned to kill Hafiz when he accused him of taking a bribe.

Social media comments by users have sought to suggest that Ken Agyapong is the prime suspect in the murder of Ahmed Hussein-Suale, a Tiger Eye PI undercover journalist.

Ahmed Hussein-Suale was shot three times, twice in the chest and another in the neck late last night at Madina by unidentified men who were riding a motorbike while he was driving home.

The Criminal Investigations Department has started investigations to unravel circumstances leading to the killing.

Following the murder, last night, Anas circulated a video of Ken Agyapong asking the public to beat Ahmed Hussein-Suale when he comes to his radio station at Madina.

But the Assin Central MP on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Thursday told show host, Osei Bonsu that the action taken by the Tiger Eye team makes Anas a prime suspect.

He said if the allegations being levelled against him were anything to go by, then Anas and his team killed Hafiz who had vowed to expose them.

Ken Agyapong had vowed to defend himself if invited by the police over the matter.

Dema Naa Hafiz Mohammed died at a private hospital on Saturday, November 17, 2018, in Tamale after complaining of an illness that same morning.
Reports said he attended a ceremony to enskin another chief but returned complaining that he was not feeling well.
