Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has denied claims by Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong that photos he published on Net 2 Television today are that of Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
He has thus questioned the motive behind NPP man’s decision to release what he described as false photos of Anas.

“These photos circulating in the public is not Anas. I cannot see Anas in those pictures not even any of the boys who work with him,” he said on Accra Peace FM.
The Maverick politician and businessman has been on a collision course with the investigative journalist over his modus operandi.

He has promised to “expose” the award-winning undercover journalist because he believes he set people up for fame.
“I will expose Anas because he is not clean. I will put my life on the line against Anas,” the lawmaker said.
But Mr. Baako defending Anas said “Anas will not be distracted” stating that the ace journalist will focus and continue with his work.
Asked if Anas will consider the option of suing Agyapong for branding him a corrupt person who uses blackmail to enrich himself, Mr Baako said: “I wouldn’t advise Anas to sue.”
“He should just keep his focus, [and] do his work.”

“After releasing fake photos of Anas, I ask myself what then is his motive if not to try and stop him from showing the video which they have tried severally, then what else would you want from Anas,” he stated.
“Anas should just be focused and not allow these issues to distract him,” he added.
