Customers of defunct gold dealership firm, Menzgold have reacted to the release of the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM 1.

The embattled businessman, who was arrested in Dubai, won his court case on Tuesday April 9, 2019.
NAM 1 was said to have been pronounced not guilty by a court in Dubai.
But, there has been mixed reactions since the news of NAM 1’s release hit the media.

Lawyer for some customers of Menzgold, Amanda Clinton said she did not believe in the entire Dubai arrest of Nam 1.
She is, thus, demanding among other things, an independent confirmation from Interpol Ghana on how it’s red alert kicks in now that NAM 1 is allegedly free.
But, Secretary of the Coalition of Aggrieved Customers of Menzgold, Mr Samuel Odartey in an interview on Adom News thanked God for the good news.

Mr Odartey said NAM 1’s release has come as a relief to the thousands of its customers. He said they expect that payment would begin in a few months.
